Fisher House Reminder for TOMORROW, October 15th!

Come to a Special Open House for W.H.A. Members
Lackland Fisher House Children’s Inn
Wednesday October 15, 2008
10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
House Tour @ 10:30; Come and go as you are able; Light refreshments served

Don’t miss this chance to see the Children’s Inn, one of the only Fisher Houses in the country for children and
their families. Fisher House provides a home-away-from-home for seriously ill or injured military members and
their dependents. Guests at FH travel from out-of-town to WHMC for medical care.
Families at FH receive free lodging, meals and services. Houses are supported by private donations.
A donation for the Fisher House - Household Wish List would be appreciated when you attend the Open
House. We want to show our support for Lackland Fisher Houses and the patients served by our spouses.

Fisher House III is on Foster Ave. Take main base entrance; go straight & follow to the end; turn left onto Foster
Ave. FH III on Left side across from the RV Campgrounds.

Mild Salsa!!!

Hello!

We appreciate your attendance at our Welcome Lunch. For those of you that attended, we regret to tell you, we just learned that the MILD Salsa has a "Best buy" date of August 6, 2008. Since the shipment arrived just a few days before the lunch, we didn't think to check the jars. We apologize for this problem.

Could you please let us know if your salsa has the August 6, Best buy date? We would like to let the company know how many jars there are when we contact them. (You can find the date towards the bottom of the jar, on the side. It's a little hard to see.) Simply reply to this email to let us know you have one.
